Education & Accomplishments: Dr. Cain is an Iowa native, hailing from Winterset. He completed his undergraduate studies at Central College in Pella, IA and received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines University.

He completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. While in residency, he received training in trauma reconstruction, sports medicine, elective outpatient procedures, wound care management and reconstruction techniques at the regional burn center. He has also obtained additional training in foot and ankle arthroscopy, limb length deformity correction, and pediatric care.

Dr. Cain provides services for surgical reconstruction of foot and ankle deformities, surgical repair of fractures or tendon injuries, biomechanical assessment and treatment with orthotics and bracing, comprehensive foot care, diabetic foot care, ulcer and wound healing.
