The first COVID-19 vaccine received by a Story Medical employee was administered this morning. Dr. Art Check received the Moderna vaccine administered by Crystal Swartzlander, RN, BSN, signaling a major milestone in the fight against the pandemic.
The efforts of many made this breakthrough possible and as an organization we are optimistic and excited that this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic.
Currently, the vaccine is only available to frontline staff. We will continue to update our communities at storymedical.org and through our social media channels with information on when we have a clear timeline to begin providing the vaccine to the general public.
