Quality and Safety
Story County Medical Center is committed to providing safe quality care to all our patients and families. Monitoring quality data helps us evaluate and improve the way we deliver care. Measuring patient satisfaction results allows us to identify ways to become even better at meeting patients' expectations.
As a patient receiving care at Story Medical, you may receive a survey asking you about our care and service. Your thoughts and experiences are critical in helping us make the changes necessary to provide the healthcare experience you have come to expect. If you receive a survey, we encourage you to take the time to share your opinions with us. You are also welcome to call our Inpatient Services Coordinator, Lisa Pratt, at any time with a concern or comment about your care. She can be reached at 515-382-7740 or by emailing lpratt@storymedical.org.
Story County Medical Center is now providing specific outcome data to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Every day we proactively work to seek new and innovative ways to provide the highest quality of care to our patients in a safe and comfortable environment. We strive to meet all applicable national quality measures and will post specific data in the near future.
